How we help

Do you want to meet other local mums/carers?   

Perhaps you are new to the area and don’t know many people?

Are you looking for a fun, free activity that you can enjoy with your child/children?

‘Bubbles’ is a toddler group for women only, and their pre-school children, toddlers and babies. All our snacks are Halal. We want all women in the community to feel comfortable and get a warm welcome.

What to expect

These sessions normally begin with a time of free play where children can explore a range of toys books and games, whilst interacting with other young children.

A creative craft time then follows, when one of our Play Workers lead a fun art and craft activity that you can join in with your child.

The children love our snack time. We offer simple snacks (all of which are Halal), and mums/carers can enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and a biscuit/cake too. This gives you time to meet other local women and build new friendships.

‘Bubbles’ ends with a ‘Bookbug’ session led by a representative from ‘Giggle and Grow’. Bookbug sessions are very engaging for young children. They involve singing songs with lots of actions and listening to a story being read.
