A recurring theme in our ESOL sessions is a high demand from our women learners to feel comfortable and capable when speaking with General Practitioners (GPs) or other medical staff.\u00a0The ability to attend an appointment alone and effectively communicate personal symptoms or concerns is a fundamental step toward self-sufficiency and empowerment.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>A Visit from Breast Cancer Now<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This week were thrilled to host Linda from Breast Cancer Now for a dedicated public health talk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It was a fantastic and practical morning! Our ESOL ladies not only sharpened their English language skills by discussing complex topics but also gained important accessible knowledge about their bodies and cancer awareness. Linda\u2019s presentation was great.
