One-to-One Advice Consultations
Dealing with paperwork or problems like benefits, immigration, or personal issues can be hard. Our advice consultations are here to help.
The Well offers free, private one-to-one advice to help you with many different problems. Our goal is to guide you through difficult situations and help you make the right choices.
Who can access this service?
Our advice consultations are open to everyone in the community. Most of our clients are from ethnic minority groups living in South East Glasgow, but we help anyone who needs support.
How to Access Advice Consultations
You do not need an appointment. Just come in during our opening hours. We work on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our Opening Hours for Advice Consultations
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:15am – 12:15pm; (we close for lunch 12:30-1pm) 1:00pm – 4:00pm
- Tuesday & Friday: 9:15am – 12:15pm only
What We Can Help With
We can give you advice and support on many topics, including:
- Benefits: Help with understanding what you can get and how to apply.
- Form Filling: Help with filling in forms (both online and paper).
- Utility Bills: Help with reading and understanding bills.
- Tax Credits: Help with claims and problems.
- Personal Problems: Help with money, social, or family issues.
- Immigration: We offer basic help with immigration (OISC registered to give level one support).
If you need help with something else, ask us! We may still be able to help or refer you to someone who can.
Cost
Free of Charge
Our advice consultations are completely free. We want to make sure that everyone in the community has access to the support they need without worrying about the cost.
(We are a charity (non-government organisation) and donations are always welcome!)
