A heart-warming wee story

From one of our volunteers:

“In one of the schools where I visit,  we’ve been doing the UN charter for children in the assemblies, and bringing a Christian perspective on some of the rights listed in it.  When we were doing article 22 – Special protection is to be given to refugee children – I told the kids about the work of the Well.

At the same time P6 were doing looking at racism and Islamophobia.  They decided they were going to sell some bookmarks and friendship bracelets to tie in with their project.  They duly did so and when they were deciding what to do with the money they raised they decided it was only fitting it should go to The Well.

Hence I’ll be passing on a cheque for £45 made out to the Well.”
