Wishing Two Cherished Team Members the Very Best

At The Well, the heart of our work has always been our people, the dedicated individuals who bring warmth, care, and compassion to our community every day. Recently, we said goodbye to two wonderful team members, Nazia and Penny, as they move on to their next exciting chapters.

While we are sad to see them go, we want to take a moment to celebrate their incredible contributions and express our huge gratitude for everything they’ve given to The Well and to Govanhill.

Nazia

Nazia wore many hats during her time at The Well, serving as our cleaner, Friday receptionist, and volunteer Urdu translator. No matter her role, Nazia poured so much care and kindness into our staff, visitors, and local community, and she will be deeply missed by all of us.

Penny

For nearly two decades Penny was our Head of Women and Families worker. She has supported countless women and families with compassion, wisdom, and heart. Her legacy is felt right across The Well as she shaped our weekly groups and transformed lives across Govanhill. Her guidance and warmth will also be missed by us all.
