Productive Meetings with Our New MPs

The recent redrawing of constituency boundaries means The Well now finds itself working alongside two MPs: Gordon McKee MP for Glasgow South and John Grady MP for Glasgow East. We recently welcomed both Mr. McKee and Mr. Grady to The Well.

These visits offered a valuable opportunity to showcase the  vital support The Well provides to individuals and families in our community. A key focus of our discussions was the increasing number of complex welfare rights and immigration cases we’ve been escalating to both MPs.

For The Well, these meetings are an important step in building strong collaborative relationships with our elected officials. By fostering open communication and mutual understanding, we can be a more effective voice for those we serve. Raising awareness of the real issues impacting people on the ground with our MPs is crucial.

We look forward to building upon these initial meetings to advocate for the needs of our community and create positive change as we continue our mission to empower and uplift those who rely on The Well.
