2024 Advice Survey

Thank you to everyone who took our Advice Centre survey over the month of October. We appreciate the time and effort given to complete our survey.  Your comments and suggestions have provided us with valuable feedback.  Thank you also to our amazing advisors who helped capture the information.

“When we sit with friends if anyone needs help, we tell them to go to The Well and they will get the help they need there.” – survey comment

We are pleased that over 98% of those surveyed are happy with the information and advice they received and would recommend The Well to others. In fact, about 85% of those who came to the advice centre in October found out about The Well from friends or family.  Following an advice consultation, 100% of those surveyed felt progress of some kind had been made and most people left an advice session feeling more confident about the issue they were facing.

“Your issues will be resolved – you just need to wait a bit and it can takes longer, but the people listen to you and guide you in the right way, and you will feel less worried about your situation.– survey comment

A common feedback theme was the wait time to see an advisor.  We see and acknowledge the queues that form each morning and afternoon and do our best to see as many people as possible.  We know that some days the wait is long and that this can be frustrating. As a non-government organisation a majority of our staff are volunteers. We are always trying to increase the number of advisors and reduce waiting times.

“When I was coming there was no hope, the way they spoke to me they calmed me, they are like family to me. I see how they speak to people and it is so kind. And people do this voluntarily! Just to help the community. Wow!”  – survey comment
