Every year when we put up our Chrismon Tree, people comment on how peaceful it is, and how it is different from other trees. The tree gives us the opportunity to share our faith and explain what Christmas means to us – it also serves to remind us all on the true meaning of Christmas.
In the craft group we had our annual Christmas party – always slightly different, as the women have the opportunity to make a Christmas based craft.
This year they upcycled jam jars into candle holders – this proved to be a very popular activity. We always tell the Christmas story before we have some food.
It’s always lovely when people give us Christmas Cards and or gifts and greetings. They are all special, but the message in the card we received this morning was extra special:
Thank you so much for your interest and support of the work of The Well throughout 2014. May you know the peace that was first announced to the angels all those years ago, this Christmas and have a very happy New Year.
